The Museum House is a Craftsman Bungalow, built in 1909, which houses the archives and is the headquarters for the Long Beach Historical & Preservation Society. The website reflects the colors and styles of the Craftsman era.

The Long Beach Historical and Preservation Society was founded in 1980 with a mission to educate the public about Long Beach and to preserve and enhance the city’s architectural and historical heritage. The museum is housed in a beautiful Arts and Crafts house, built in 1909 and lovingly preserved by a dedicated team of volunteers. The museum offers tours and receptions throughout the year.
